David BudlerBorn in Tarkastad, South Africa, David Budler attended high school at Selborne College in East London where his interest in tennis was sparked. He joined the Border Tennis Academy and was #1 for three years. He ended up in the top 10 for singles in South Africa and the top 15 for doubles for 18-and-under. He attended Francis Marion University (FMU) in South Carolina where he was ranked sixth in the U.S. for doubles and top 16 for singles in Division 2. He earned a BBA in Business from FMU in May 2008. Prior to joining King’s Highway, he spent three years under Alain Devos at Noroton Yacht Club. |

Jonathan EngelbrechtA native of South Africa, Jonathan spent four summers as an instructor at the Tokeneke Club in Darien before joining the Kings Highway Tennis Club. He played tennis at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah where he captained the team, played #1 singles and doubles and was a two-time Most Valuable Player for the Wildcats. Jonathan was also an assistant to the women’s tennis coach, whose team finished as runner-up in the Big Sky Conference. A lover of the restaurants and night-lights of New York City, Jonathan also enjoys working out, reading and playing golf. |

David KimaniA native of Kenya, David began playing tennis at age ten. He was #1 at the University of Nairobi from 1990-1992 and a singles finalist in the Kenyan University games in 1992. He was also a tour coach and manager for the International Tennis Federation team that competed in Botswana, Malawi and Zimbabwe from 1994-1997. David earned a Masters degree in Physical Education from Springfield College in Massachusetts. He is currently the Executive Director of the Norwalk Grassroots Tennis Program for inner-city children. A PRT certified teaching professional, he and his wife, Gladys, have a young son, Daniel. |

Jim LipinskiThroughout his teen years, this Polish born tennis player competed in junior tournaments around the country. He earned a Masters degree from the University of Physical Education in Wroclaw and has been certified as an instructor by the Polish Tennis Association as well as being a referee and trainer. At the Progress Tennis Club in Wroclaw, he taught tennis at every level. Jim will tell you that there are just a few things he likes as much as tennis. These include a big bowl of ice cream, a fun travel adventure and spending time with his Brazilian wife, Clarissa. |

Morne van StadenBorn in South Africa, Morne began his tennis adventure when he was eight years old and has been playing the game with skill and enthusiasm ever since, including representing his state on many occasions as a junior. He also played some of the South African Junior satellite tournaments. His love of people and tennis is what led him to start coaching at age 19. In 2001, he founded his own tennis academy, which grew to over 100 registered tennis pupils. He also coached the top three juniors in his country. He believes his passion for tennis is a way to help people with both tennis and life skills. |
