Hanno Bartsch
Tennis Professional

Hanno is an USPTA certified tennis Professional from Pretoria, South Africa. He is currently the Co-Director of Tennis at Noroton Yacht Club and was the Director of Tennis at the Oak Hills Tennis Club in 2018. Before that, he spent 5 summers at the Tokeneke club where he served as Head Pro for the last 2 years. Hanno is certified in high performance coaching and has coached numerous juniors ranked in the top 10 of Alabama, Georgia and in the Southern section while coaching at the RCS Academy (LifeTIme Learning) and the Mobile Tennis Center. Numerous of those players have gone on to compete at the Division 1 level, and on the WTA and ATP tour. In 2016 he was selected to coach the Spring Junior National Team Championships where his team finished second.

During his junior playing career in South Africa he achieved a National Singles ranking as high as number 8 and was ranked as high as number 3 in doubles. He won the under 18 National Championships and represented South Africa nationally in 2007. Hanno attended the University of South Alabama, where he received two Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Management. During his division 1 college tennis career at South Alabama the team achieved a national ranking as high as 41 in the country and Hanno also received conference player of the week twice.
